Roundtable : Wissenschaft und Gesellschaft an den Grenzen Europas

The panel discussion “Wissenschaft und Gesellschaft an den Grenzen Europas“ was the closure of the Conference. Jeanette Hofmann (WZB/Alexander von Humboldt Institut für Internet und Gesellschaft), Paweł Machcewicz (Fellow of the Imre-Kertész-Kollegs in Jena), Ernst Dieter Rossmann (German Parliament, “Ausschuss für Bildung, Forschung und Technikfolgenabschätzung”) and Amr Hamzawy (Fellow of the Wissenschaftskolleg Berlin 2018/2019) discussed under the leadership of Christoph Möllers (Humboldt-Universität Berlin/Wissenschaftskolleg Berlin) the idea and praxis of an open society. The focus was on questions of the role of science and science politic in times of change and political and social fragmentism
